ICARUS

In February 2021, I joined the BFI Stop Motion Animation Camp 2021, working with Aardman studios and Bristol School of Animation. They offer 25 places for young people to develop their animation skills, working towards and producing their own animation. At the end of the week, we were set a brief to make an 1 minute animation with one of the techniques we had used. I chose to create a 2D cut-out animation entitled ‘Icarus’; inspired by the 1930s artist Lotte Reiniger.
